Museums and exhibitions in Saint Petersburg 2019 winter.

Saint Petersburg at winter time offers not too much for visitors. Museums are good for warming up and education. Hermitage is among very top art collections. Military museums are impressive. Newly open museums give fresh taste of new culture. Tropical plants in green house are eye candy. The |Museum of UnTruth is point of interest for any sci-fi fan.

There is also modern art composition in new location of collection of Hermitage. There is Leonardo phrase on the wall. No painting there, only caption. Ok I get it. Author is mocking visitors who instead absorbing art reading description for false sense of education. Nice. But it is not about me and I don’t like puffing off superiority. What for? Nevertheless this mocking was sold.

The entrance into new location of modern art of Hermitage is artwork by itself. Well like inside dark yard of old Saint Petersburg is presented here in sort of attractive manner.

The military museum in Saint Petersburg has tricky working hours. Exact when I spontaneously wanted to visit it walking nearby at rare sunny day there were sort of technical monthly day off.

Botanical Garden in Saint Petersburg is the special place at winter to get a little warm. There is start of tropical excursion along prolong connected green houses.

I did passing Sadovaya St., 34, St. Petersburg, Russia and saw the poster The Museum of UnTruth. The title does not complete adequate description of the exposition. Mostly there are replicas of famous artifacts. It is of course the oxymoron. How one can replica of imaginary object. Exactly why it called untruth. Here is mythical chupacabra.
