In general it is quite understandable you need to promote your products or fulfill your job. That is OK from your prospective. But from point of view of owner of this site nothing good for content is come from stand alone link. No plus for site content. I will just delete all such posting – do not waste time. There is the deal. I promise or delete one post complete or not delete it at all. So if the will be interesting enough content to justify link(s) – they will stay alive together. Good content what is it – the definition here very precise – what I consider like is. |

Leo, I´ve just downloaded the LeoFetch tool and had significant problems with it. The first problem was a pagesys violation. Once I started to work with the different command options, I didn´t have it occur again. Why? Secondly, I could not get the program to find any URLs or internet shortcuts I had saved in one folder with many subfolders. I checked the windows explorer display of files only to find that the URL file extension was missing from all listings. I did a quick search of several Windows XP sites and I found information re/updates and problems stemming from these updates. One site describe a problem with the URL extension not displaying in the Explorer Window after an MS update but, unfortunately, it was an old update dating back to 2002. However, I have recently processed a number of updates and have just seen this problem occur on my system. Third. As I could not get LeoFetch to read a folder/directory, I used the DOS DIR command-line tool to create a text file of all of my URLs. This file did indeed include the URL extension. I edited the file down to circa 20 file names making sure there were no extra empty lines, all file names were left justified with no leading spaces and no other data types were included in the file. I was able to run the command specificying the program to search for URL strings (and thus used the keyword parameter). Once the search was complete, I created the output from your tool only to have a jumbled list of file names ... each line consisted of two or three separate URL references and some characters were deleted. I tried to search for the URLs using your web parameter and although it was successful, it still produced the same erroneous results. As another test, I took my file list and copied it into MS Word to make sure the paragraph marks were in place. Still, after rerunning it again, there were still errors. Lastly, I did a quick search on LeoFetch to find that I had an old version of the tool. The interface does not include an "About LeoFetch" menu option to show me the version so I had to go to the directory where I had stored the exe and use the windows properties tool to determine my version. Or, there should be an option that asks the user to register either the trial or purchased version of the software so we are notified of any new versions. Based upon the problems I´ve had with my version, I would not expect to pay $50.00 for v2.9. |

All these jazz about Litvinenko poisoning has no sense for me. If it is crime the killer is dumb as wood. Radioactive isotopes are used specially to trace suspect by smart police, not other way around. What happened is equal to deliberate confession if it is murder. But there is a theory that could explain all motivations. What if Litvimenko met these two Russians to get Po 210 as a participant of the smuggle operation. They delivered the sample from Russia to England, he supposed to traffic it somewhere else from there. But container was broken. Accidentally or deliberately. In both cases nobody will be caught. Это программное заявление о запуске нового форума. С чего бы. Причин и поводов много. Во-первых, просто привычка писать что-то художественное русскими буковками. Начиная с 99 на моське и далее с заходом на шурикововский, много на лебеде и носороге. В конце концов, всегда оказывалось, что владельцу форума надоедали его посетители. По крайней мере, некоторые. По разным причинам. И развод из-за непримиримых противоречий. А сейчас не осталось ни одного приличного места, где я не в конфликте с хозяином. А тут я поставил накрученную гестбуку, которую за бесплатно предоставлял провайдер. Жила она была, а потом пошёл на неё поток сообщений. По сотне в день. И все мессажи, слегка сказать помягче выразиться, несколько неискренние с кремниевым душком на любителя. Не было у неё защиты от автопостинга. Красотой объектно ориентированной создатели упивались, а функциональностью не озадачились. И решил я её закрыть. Но вот линк раскрученный жаль и много, где его чистить по сайту ходить. Вот я и сварганил свой движок простой до примитивности и запустил. О чём и сообщаю. Кто хочет – пользуйтесь. Никаких особых правил по сравнению с упомянутыми выше сайтами здесь нет и не предвидится. Диалоги «Дурак. Сам дурак.» не приветствуются, но допускаются. А вот назойливое повторение одних оскорблений без художественного оформления и/или затейливой аргументации может быть почищено безжалостно. И когда несколько ников с одного айпи на одного, это того несправедливо - тайна не гарантирована. В общем, по рыцарски, если не слишком трудно. |

Hi David, I am not quite sure that understand your problem. If it is about to implement into software of this firm shareware capability - in this case most developers use their own solutions. I have mine that is quite compact and reliable. But not sure that determined genius will not be able to crack and use my products for free. On practice it is mostly about relations between efforts to crack software protection and price of one copy. If protection good enough nobody will care to pay 20 bucks instead of hours of solving puzzle to overcome protection solutions. You can check LeoGuard but keep in mind that the information on that page is slightly obsolete. Present solution is better. |
