The software has been created as common application for security hybrid platforms functioning at the same time with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the identical look and functionality on the local and apart pcs. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded video and have complete management of the software using network that security pc can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular composition extensively improves reliability because all parts operate as autonomous applications. If one module fails, other parts go on running. For instance if the `capture` component freezes, `watchdog` starts again it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` unit. The software does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart workstation through Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras at the same time. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
