The software has been designed as universal program for security cross platforms working concurrently with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the identical appearance and controls on the local and apart workstations. Customers view MPEG-4 coded video and have complete control of the program via net that security pc can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular structure significantly improves reliability because all components work as independent applications. If one module fails, other modules go on working. For instance if the `capture` module stops working, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` module. The program does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be started by activity, human face recognition, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart server via Web interface. The program makes synchronized video playback for event examination from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
