The software has been created as general software for surveillance hybrid platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired Internet cameras, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same form and controls on the local and apart workstations. Users view MPEG coded picture and have complete control of the software using network that surveillance station can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure significantly improves reliability because all modules proceed as autonomous programs. If one component fails, other units keep on working. For example if the `record` unit fails, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` component. The software does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be triggered by movement, human face detection, or by timetable. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote station through Web interface. The program performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
