The software has been created as common product for surveillance cross platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and distant pcs. Users view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the software via network that security station can be operated with no screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure extensively improves reliability because all units work as independent software. If one component freezes, other modules continue running. For instance if the `record` part stops working, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` module. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by movement, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote computer through Web interface. The software does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
