The program has been designed as common software for surveillance cross platforms functioning at the same time with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the identical appearance and controls on the local and apart pcs. Customers see MPEG-4 coded video and have complete control of the program via net that surveillance station can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular composition extensively boosts reliability because all units operate as autonomous applications. If one unit freezes, other units go on working. For example if the `capture` module stops working, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video through a `playback` component. The program performs `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be started by activity, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant station using Web interface. The software performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams at the same time. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
