The software has been created as universal application for surveillance cross platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar appearance and controls on the local and apart pcs. Customers watch MPEG coded video and have complete management of the program through network that surveillance pc can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure extensively improves reliability because all units operate as autonomous software. If one module fails, other modules keep on running. For example if the `record` component freezes, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` module. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be started by movement, human face recognition, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant workstation via Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
