The program has been designed as universal software for surveillance cross platforms functioning at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same look and controls on the local and remote computers. Customers watch MPEG coded picture and have full control of the software using net that surveillance server can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular composition drastically increases reliability because all units proceed as autonomous software. If one unit stops working, other components continue running. For example if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` module. The program does `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote server through Web interface. The program performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
