The program has been created as universal software for security cross platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and distant computers. Users view MPEG coded picture and have complete control of the software using net that surveillance computer can be run with no screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular composition significantly improves reliability because all components work as independent applications. If one component fails, other components continue running. For example if the `capture` part freezes, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` module. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be triggered by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote workstation using Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
