Every time there is a recession, a good source of livelihood for a slowing economy would be the government?s creation of jobs in building and repairing infrastructure. Such is the stand taken in the United States by President Obama. Should the Stimulus Plan be passed, four million new jobs will be created for Americans. Four hundred thousand of those will be in construction. It?s about time that America spends more money on building more and better infrastructure and less aggressively on its gigantic military industrial complex. The rest of the world has yet to recover as well so we are all on just about equal footing when it comes to prioritizing national programs that will somehow alleviate our economic situation.
