Cape Cod 2020 start of the summer in the age of virus.
by Leonid Sakharov
As soon as officials permit to open hotel at Cape Cod and the
weather forecast was advantageous enough we rent the room at
Village Green Motel in West Yarmouth. There is the mile long
beach packed with different level comfort hotels and private
houses. Although each hotel claims private beach territory it
makes little difference because sea line is publicly accessible
territory and one can walk all the beach shore back and force.
We also drive to Chatham Lighthouse park where was able to observe
seals swimming reasonable close for the zoom level of my camera.
At the opposite side of strait between Lighthouse beach and North
Beach Island one can see one big lone seal resting at the sand.
At the Ship skeleton off Cape Cod the curious couple looks like
celebrated weeding or something.
Next day we visit our favorite South Cape Beach State Park. The
place is distinct by pristine and protected nature. Places for
nest of birds in danger are separated by warning tapes and obviously
respected by beach goers.
It was revitalizing trip from hysteria madness of COVID19 political
pandemic. Almost nobody wears mask on the beach and streets.
Only inside of superstores and coffee houses masks were required
obviously as a token of obedience to our out of their mind government
officials. It is not worth to rebel about just nuisance. Masks?
Ok? I will wear. But please do not expect thanks for nothing,
trust to mainstream media in anything any more and my vote. No!
