North Bridge Battle site in Concord, Massachusetts.
by Leonid Sakharov
Minute Man National Historic Park in Concord, Massachusetts is
where the very consequential event of American Revolution took
place. The goal of English regular forces was in general to confiscate
weapon from local militia.
British forces partly searched for military ammunition and partly
moved to the bridge across Concord River. Minuteman militia gathered
at opposite bank of the river. When minutemen saw fire and smoke
in town direction they mistaken it for complete devastation of
their home by British. Minuteman militia attacked and killed
several regular British.
It was the first real act of Rebellion at New Word. Than it became independent.
